Can I keep my existing number when I switch?
Yes! You can bring your number with you when you switch. Just choose "Keep My Number" during sign-up, and we'll handle the transfer for you.
How do I transfer my number to Mango Mobile?
If you elect to bring your existing mobile number when you switch, during sign-up you'll be asked for either your Date of Birth (for prepaid) or account number (for postpaid). Transfers usually complete within an hour, though it may take up to 24 hours.
Will I lose service during the transfer?
Keep your current SIM in your phone until it stops working — this means the transfer is complete. Most transfers are completed within an hour (up to 24 hours in some cases). Downtime is minimal, and Mango will keep you updated.
What happens if my number transfer fails?
Details typically don't match what your current provider has on file. Double-check Date of Birth (prepaid) or account number (postpaid). Once updated, Mango will re-submit the transfer.
What happens if I use all my data?
You'll be notified at 50%, 85% and 100% of your monthly allowance. If opted into Data Bolt-Ons, an extra 2GB is automatically added for $10 (up to 5 times per billing cycle). Otherwise, data pauses until the next cycle.
Are there lock-in contracts or cancellation fees?
Nope! All our plans are month-to-month with no cancellation fees. You're free to stay or leave whenever it suits you.
How does Data Banking work?
Unused data rolls into your Data Bank — up to 100GB, 200GB, or 300GB depending on your plan, providing a buffer when you need it most.
How do I pay my bill?
Payments are made automatically each month via debit or credit card. Billing is in advance, and you can update payment details anytime through the customer portal.
Where can I get support?

NBN
What is NBN and how does it work?
The National Broadband Network (NBN) is Australia's high-speed broadband network. It connects homes and businesses via fibre, fixed wireless or satellite, depending on your location, to deliver fast and reliable internet access.
Can I get Mango NBN at my address?
Check your address on the website to confirm availability. NBN coverage depends on the rollout in your area and the technology type used (FTTP, FTTN, HFC, Fixed Wireless, etc.).
Do I need a new modem?
If you already have an NBN-ready modem, you may be able to keep using it. Otherwise, Mango can supply a compatible modem when you sign up.
How do I switch to Mango NBN?
Simply sign up online. Mango will confirm your details, arrange the connection with NBN Co, and guide you through setting up your modem. If you're with another provider, Mango will help transfer your service with minimal downtime.
How long does it take to get connected?
Connection times vary depending on your location and whether an NBN technician visit is required. In most cases, connections are completed within 2 hours but can take up to 5–10 business days if a technician is required.
Will I lose internet during the changeover?
There may be a short downtime window while your service is being switched. If a technician visit is needed, they'll confirm this with you in advance.
Are there lock-in contracts for NBN plans?
No. All Mango NBN plans are month-to-month, so you're free to cancel or change plans without exit fees.
How do I pay for my NBN plan?
Payments are automatic each month via debit or credit card, just like mobile services. Billing is in advance, and you can manage payment details anytime through the customer portal.
What speeds can I expect?
Your speed depends on the NBN technology available at your address and your chosen plan speed tier. Mango will let you know the expected typical evening speeds (7pm–11pm) when you sign up.
Who do I contact if there's a problem with my service?
Mango Mobile is your first point of contact. The Australian-based support team can troubleshoot and, if necessary, work with NBN Co to resolve the issue.
